The Uncharted forums are powered by our community and moderators, but there are far more normal community members then there ever will be staff members. Because of this, we give a little bit of trust to you guys as you spend time and participate here. We call this system “Trust Levels”.
What are Trust Levels?
Trust Levels are the way the forums rate your activity and participation. They do not have any affect your in-game experience or even your forum browsing capabilities. We’ll outline the differences between each of these levels and how to achieve each one, here.
The Goal of Trust Levels
- The ability to “sandbox” brand new users so they cannot hurt their own reputation early on, the community as a whole, or other users while they’re learning what to do
- Granting experienced users more rights to help maintain and moderate the community along with our moderators
The Five Trust Levels
- Level 0 - New
- Level 1 - Basic
- Level 2 - Member
- Level 3 - Regular
- Level 4 - Community Leader
All new users start at Level 0 and will passively work their way up. We assess levels every 24 hours to keep up with users who need to be promoted (or demoted)!
