If you want to know how to make a cactus farm, here are some quick and easy steps in which to make the most efficient cactus farm.
- Block of choice (I’m going to be using cobblestone)
- Block of choice’s slab (I’m going to be using cobblestone slabs)
- Sand (I’m going to be using normal sand)
- Fence Posts (I’m going to be using Oak fence posts)
- Glass (optional)
Create a platform the size of your desired cactus farm making sure it is 17 blocks in width, and any odd number of blocks in length. Then line the edges with your desired block. It should look something like this depending on how long it’s length is.
Replace the middle row of blocks with hoppers going into a chest and add water to the edges (Lengthwise). It should look something like this.
Repeat this diagram onto your platform (In a line)
In the end, it should end up looking something like this.
Then copy it onto the rest of the platform. It will look something similar to this.
Repeat the process upwards and you should get something that looks like this.
To stop some cactus from falling out of the farm, you can use glass to cover up the sides. If you do, it will look like this.
